An accessible, relatable approach

I am a consultant, author, speaker, and advocate for financial literacy, bringing a straightforward perspective on personal finances. I address a broad range of topics in a relatable, easy-to-understand fashion. My independent, objective viewpoint is essential when it comes to money. I
focus on women, family wealth topics, and life transitions with a financial impact.

In Manage Your Financial Life: A Thoughtful, Organized Approach for Women and Manage Your Financial Life: Just Starting Out, I share a system for managing your financial life along with real-life experiences – mine and those of family and friends – to illustrate key concepts.

Extensive experience

My financial services industry expertise is extensive. I am an experienced family office investment professional, acting as the point person for investment managers, private bankers, accountants, attorneys, and trustees. A family office organizes, manages, and protects a family’s assets. A family office approach should not just be for the wealthy. We should all conduct our financial lives in a thoughtful, coordinated manner.

I have been a guest on TV, radio, and podcasts and featured in numerous outlets, including U.S. News, Reader’s Digest, MarketWatch, The Huffington Post, Morningstar, WGN TV, and the Chicago Tribune.

I graduated from Georgetown University and received my MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.  I hold the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, am a Certified Financial Therapist-Level I™ Practitioner, and am a Professional Member of NAPO (National Association of Productivity & Organizing).
